At Lakeside Hotel By Pedestal Owerri, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy helps us manage room availability fairly while giving guests reasonable flexibility.

Standard Cancellation

Guests may cancel their reservation at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date without incurring the standard late-cancellation charge.

The applicable cancellation deadline is based on the hotel’s local time.

Late Cancellation

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date will attract a charge of 30% of the total deposit paid.

The remaining refundable amount, where applicable, will be processed according to our Refund Policy.

No-Show

If a guest does not arrive for the reservation and has not cancelled it in accordance with this policy, 100% of the total deposit paid will be forfeited.

Changes to a Reservation

Requests to change the arrival date, room type, length of stay or other booking details are subject to room availability and may result in a change in price or applicable booking conditions.

Guests are advised to contact the hotel as early as possible when changes are required.

Special Rates and Bookings

Certain promotional rates, special offers, group bookings, event bookings or other specially agreed reservations may have different cancellation conditions.

Where different terms apply, those terms will be communicated at the time of booking and will take priority over this general policy.

Third-Party Bookings

If your reservation was made through an online travel agency, booking platform or travel agent, cancellation requests should normally be made through the same platform.

The cancellation terms shown at the time of booking will apply.

Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will be processed in line with our Refund and Returns Policy. Refunds are not made at the hotel counter and may take up to 7 working days to process.
